Certificate in Crop Protection – Agriculture
This course provides training and certification for sellers of agrochemicals and those giving advice on their use in agriculture.
Certificate in Crop Protection - Commercial Horticulture
This course provides training and certification for sellers of agrochemicals and those giving advice on their use in commercial horticulture.
Certificate in Crop Protection – Amenity (Sports Turf)
This course provides training and certification for sellers of agrochemicals and those giving advice on their use in amenity.
Certificate in Crop Protection – Amenity (Invasive & Injurious Weeds)
The Amenity BASIS course covers amenity grass and sports turf areas. Hard surface areas are also covered on this course.
Advanced Cereals
This Advanced Cereals Course is split into 3 sections. ‘Integrated crop management.’ ‘Evaluation of safe and appropriate strategies for prevention and control.’ and ‘Protection of people, the environment and the crop.’

CWETG run several Agronomy Groups for our members. Meeting at regular intervals they provide up to date news and information.
Foundation Award in Agriculture
Preliminary course for delegates who are considering undertaking the BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection (Agriculture or Vegetables) or those wishing to attain a nationally recognised qualification in agronomy.
Quality of Soils Level 6
This course will enable farmers, growers and advisers to understand the relationship between the physical structure, biology and the chemical processes that contribute to a healthy soil.
Certificate in Sustainable Land Management
Designed for professionals providing environmental advice to farms and the farmed environment, along with farmers and land managers across the UK.
FACTS
The FACTS Certificate is a certificate of competence, which proves that the holder has a satisfactory level of competence and knowledge in the need for safe and effective use of fertilisers in the major UK arable crops (and grassland).
Soil and Water Certificate
The BASIS Soil & Water Management Certificate covers all aspects of effective soil and water management which allows farmers and advisers to manage these resources in a way which maximises crop performance whilst minimising agricultures impact on the wider environment.
Waste to Land
The waste to land course covers all aspects of organic material applications, ensuring that successful candidates can maximise the benefits achieved from applications for both crops and the wider environment.
The BASIS/LEAF Integrated Farm Management (IFM)
Useful for advisers, farmers and farm managers who wish to improve their awareness, knowledge and skills in the management of integrated farm management (IFM)
