Basis Advanced Cereals module

Optimising cereal yields and achieving market requirements for grain quality increasingly demands close attention to the detail of crop management.

The agronomists’ role is increasingly complex with insect weed and fungal resistance as major issues whilst producing cereals in the context of environmental stewardship and crop assurance schemes.

The Cereals module will develop a detailed understanding of the requirements for improving crop management and profitable grain production.  Decision-making will be stressed in the participative training for improving, in particular, cereal crop protection.  The modules will be delivered over 5 days. The exam will be held on-line over 2 days.
